Before you begin, make some star or surfboard connectors. You'll find the instructions under 'Build your basics'.
2/10
Get a sheet of sturdy cardboard, like an old box.
3/10
Draw the front, roof and two sides - making sure they'll all fit together. Mark on where slots will go like this.
4/10
Cut roughly around each piece to separate them. Then trim carefully up to the line.
5/10
Cut in the thin slots. They should go about half way up.
6/10
Cut matching slots into the side walls.
7/10
Use a hole punch to make holes in the corners of the front walls. Mark the same distance on your roof, and punch holes in the roof to match.
8/10
Line them up, and push through a connector. Remember to lock the connectors in place.
9/10
Use the slots to attach your sides.
10/10
Go town with details! Who lives in your house? What does the front door look like? Is there a chimney?
